Coaching Pathways

Here Is Exactly

What The Work Looks Like.

Every engagement is built around one leader, one situation, and one outcome that actually matters. Here is what that looks like in practice.

The gap nobody fills

Mindset first.

Skillset second.
 Both. Always.

Most coaching gives leaders insight. Farrah gives them both the right mindset and the practical skillset, so once the engagement is done, they can actually do the thing. Not just understand it. Not just feel better about it. Do it. That is the difference between coaching that fades and change that holds. Every engagement below is built on that principle. All pricing is upon enquiry. The discovery call takes 30 minutes and confirms the right fit before anything else.

01

Executive coaching

For senior leaders who are performing and still hitting a ceiling they cannot name.

What I have learned from years of executive coaching is that the ceiling is almost never a skills problem. It is a mindset problem wearing the clothes of a skills problem. So that is where we start. We identify the pattern the old story, the autopilot reaction, the belief that is running the show underneath the behaviour. Then we rewrite it. And then we build the skillset on top of a foundation that can actually hold it.

I spent 12 years at Bain and then led People and Culture at two hyper-growth tech companies. I understand what it takes to operate at a high level under real business pressure. When I coach, I bring both sides the human and the commercial. Your leaders leave with a mindset shift and a repeatable skillset. Not just a conversation they felt good about.

Leadership coaching

For rising and senior leaders building durable leadership capability.

Not every engagement starts with a crisis conversation. Some leaders come to build the whole capability: how they give feedback, how they run hard meetings, how they carry authority without carrying all the weight themselves. This is that work, structured over a series of months, so growth compounds instead of fading after one good session.

The approach is the same as every engagement: mindset first, skillset second, both always. We find what is running the leader under pressure, update it, and build practical leadership skills on a foundation that holds.

03

Communication Coaching

For one specific high-stakes conversation your leader cannot afford to get wrong.

There is a conversation your leader has been avoiding. You probably know which one. So do they. The performance issue that has been sitting on the table for months. The feedback that is overdue. The restructure announcement the team deserves to hear clearly. The longer it waits, the heavier it gets and the more damage it does to trust, to culture, and to the leader carrying it.

Here is what I have noticed: leaders do not avoid hard conversations because they do not care. They avoid them because nobody ever taught them how to do it well, with clarity, with empathy, and without blowing up the relationship in the process. That is the gap this engagement fills. I take the specific situation, apply the Communicating Change Framework to it, and build the language with the leader until it sounds like them. Not a script. Their words, for their person, in their context.

"You just helped me resolve 6 months of worry in a 30 minute coaching session." That is a real response from a real leader after one session. That is what this is built to do.

360 Leadership Assessments

A clear picture of how the leader actually shows up, not how they think they do.

Most leaders have no idea how they actually come across. Not because they are not self-aware, but because nobody around them has ever been honest enough to tell them in a way that actually landed. The 360 leadership assessment changes that. It puts real data in the room. Not opinions. Not gut feelings. Patterns from the people who work with this leader every single day.

I am certified in the Leadership Circle Profile, which is one of the most comprehensive 360 tools available. It does not just measure what a leader does. It measures the internal beliefs and assumptions driving why they do it. That is where the real information is. The debrief is not a report handed over in a meeting and filed away. It is a coaching conversation that turns the data into a specific plan, what needs to shift, in what order, and why.

A lot of CHROs use the 360 as the starting point for a longer coaching engagement. Others use it on its own to get a clear picture before deciding on next steps. Either way, the leader leaves the debrief knowing something real about themselves that they did not know walking in.

People & Culture Advisory

For CHROs and founders building the People function under real growth pressure.

I have been in the room where these decisions get made. Layoffs. Restructures. Leadership transitions. Rapid growth phases where the People function is six months behind the business and everyone can feel it. I built People and Culture from the ground up at two hyper-growth tech companies. I know what it costs when the People function cannot keep pace, the communication breakdowns, the manager gaps, the culture drift, the exits that should not have happened.

People and Culture Advisory is for CHROs and founders navigating something real. Not a consulting engagement that delivers a deck. Direct work on strategy, on change management, on the specific communications that hold an organisation together when things are hard. The kind of support that understands both the human side and the business reality, because I have operated on both sides of that line.

The scope is always agreed based on what is actually happening. Some engagements run six weeks around a specific transition. Others sit alongside the organisation's growth for a year. The discovery call shapes what makes sense. But if you are a CHRO who needs someone who has genuinely been in your seat, this is what this is for.

Before You Book

Questions People

Ask Before They Commit.

What happens on the discovery call exactly?

The discovery call is 30 minutes, free, and requires no commitment. Before the call, Farrah sends three specific questions about your situation so the session starts in the right place from the first minute. On the call, she listens, asks clarifying questions, and gives you a specific recommendation on which coaching pathway fits your situation, and an honest answer on whether this is the right fit at all. If it is not the right fit, she will tell you that too. No pitch. No pressure.

Which coaching pathway is right for me?

It depends on the situation, and the discovery call confirms it. As a guide: if there is one specific conversation on the table now, Communication Coaching. If a leader is performing but hitting a ceiling they cannot name, Executive Coaching. If you want to build broad leadership capability over months, Leadership Coaching. If you want clear data before deciding, start with a 360 assessment. If you are a CHRO building the People function itself, People & Culture Advisory.

How much does coaching with Farrah Mitra cost?

Pricing is upon enquiry and confirmed on the discovery call once the scope is clear. Every engagement is scoped to the actual situation rather than sold as a fixed package, because a single communications session before one hard conversation and a six-month executive coaching programme are genuinely different pieces of work. You will leave the discovery call knowing the investment before committing to anything.

What if I am not sure there is a problem, I just know something is off?

That is one of the most common reasons leaders come to Farrah, and often where the most important work happens. High-performing leaders frequently sense something is limiting them before they can name it. The coaching process starts exactly there: identifying the pattern underneath the feeling, perfectionism, conflict avoidance, people pleasing, imposter syndrome, that has been running on autopilot. You do not need a clearly defined problem to book the discovery call. The sense that something could be different is enough.

How long does a coaching engagement last?

It depends on the pathway. Executive and leadership coaching typically run 3 to 6 months with bi-weekly sessions. Communication coaching runs 1 to 3 sessions depending on the situation. A 360 assessment is the assessment plus a coached debrief session. People & Culture advisory runs anywhere from 6 weeks around a specific transition to 12 months alongside an organisation's growth. Length is always agreed at the start, never open-ended.

Do you work with individuals or only companies?

Both. Farrah works with individual senior leaders booking for themselves, and with CHROs and People leaders booking coaching for their leadership teams. The majority of engagements are initiated by CHROs investing in their people, but individual leaders who want to work with Farrah directly are equally welcome to book the discovery call.

Is the coaching confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed in a coaching engagement with Farrah is confidential. For individual leaders, nothing from your sessions is shared with your organisation, your manager, or your CHRO without your explicit consent. For CHROs commissioning coaching for their teams, Farrah does not report on individuals; she may share aggregate themes with the commissioning leader at agreed checkpoints, but individual session content remains private. Leaders do better work when they feel safe. Confidentiality is not a policy detail, it is what makes the work possible.

Does Farrah Mitra work remotely or only in Houston?

Both. Farrah is based in Houston, Texas, and coaches clients worldwide. The majority of 1:1 coaching engagements run virtually, which allows her to work with CHROs and senior leaders across the United States and internationally without any loss of depth or effectiveness. For team facilitation and leadership programmes, she is available to travel.

How quickly can we get started?

The discovery call can typically be scheduled within one to two weeks, and the work usually begins within two to four weeks after that depending on scope. For urgent situations, a leader preparing for an imminent layoff or reorganisation announcement, for example, Farrah prioritises accordingly. The fastest path is to book the discovery call now rather than waiting until the situation is more urgent.
